Asked if she thinks about her weight daily, Anne told E! News that although she is ashamed to say, she is obsessed by her weight.

Anne says: "If I'm honest, yes. There's an obsessive quality to it that I thought I would've grown out of by now. It's an on-going source of shame for me."

The Batman star added that it's the fear of having people mock her that pushes her to keep a strong check on her appearance.

"I just think about the ridicule you get if you have an off day. If people weren't watching, I'd be so much more eccentric...I actually really don't feel like getting made fun of."

"So I put on something boring and navy and go out and try to disappear."

However, we haven't noticed Anne disappearing on any red carpets of late, in fact we were thinking how she always takes rather fashionable risks:

Quite the opposite of something boring.

Still, at least it is refreshing to hear a Hollywood actress be honest about their weight.

Makes a change from those who claim they eat what they want and just do a bit of Pilates once a week.

Anne has in the past claimed that she lived on "hummus and radishes" to slim down for a her latest film role in Les Miserables.

Honestly, that's just no way to live, is it?
