Angry Rihanna so ill she can't get out of bed (something to do with that X Factor rain?)

We're starting to wonder whether the whole X Factor rain thing might not have been such a good idea for Rihanna after all.

The pop goddess has taken to bed ill and has confessed she's hating the world right now.

RiRi, who spent lots of her #777 tour last week in bed with a bad throat, took to Twitter to tell her followers that she was sick.

She tweeted:"I hate being sick!! I don't wanna do shit or talk to anybody right now!! Can't even swallow, and that's no beuno!!"

And the Bajan songstress updated her status yesterday to let everyone know she's too ill to get out from under the sheets.

She posted: "From dusk til dusk... Still can't get outta bed! Hating everything right now" with this snap of her bed.

Chatting to Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show  in an exclusive interview she revealed she was starting to feel ill on Sunday night.

She said: "I'm a little sick right now but I'm not affected by it at all, I'm in a great mood. I'm keeping the windows open too much now, starting to get a cold."

And it seems she will be cursing that X Factor rain - which must have seemed like a good idea at the time - after she revealed it was COLD water.

She said: "It was a type of performance I have never done before with real water. It was cold."

Hmm cold symptoms plus cold water is never going to mesh well, is it?

Talking about the controversial #777 tour she said: "It was fun. It was exhausting. Having to do your job but also have 200 guests to come along with you.

"They all want you to hold a party every time you get on the plane after the show but you only have that time to sleep until you get to the next country. I had to save my voice. I didn't go crazy."

And she admitted she does need to get her sleep, adding: "It's good to have some time to sleep. You need it. As much as I need to push through it, it doesn't work in the long run. You get sick and then you're out for a week."

Ooops. Sounds like all that snoozing on the plane wasn't enough. Get well soon Ri!
