Talking exclusively to omg! Alexandra, 24, revealed to us that she would love to work with the boys when we asked which X Factor act would she most like to collaborate with.
She told us: “One Direction - it would nice to do something fun and young!”
Well if she wants young and fun, she’s come to the right place.
Alexandra released her second album in June of last year, releasing two singles- ‘Elephant’ and ‘Let it Go’.
Since then it has all has gone rather quiet from the Alexandra Burke music camp so we were keen to find out about album number three.
Alexandra Burke revealed that she has been busy laying down tracks both here in the UK and over in the US.
She explained: “[I’m] definitely back in the studio I have been recording in my home studio and have recorded material in the US.
“I am in regular communication with my fans and album number 3 will be full of surprises and I can't wait until it is released for you guys to hear it!”
Alexandra Burke is currently promoting the NBA All-Star event of which she is attending this weekend.
Talking about why she decided to take part, Alexandra confessed that she has a secret love of basketball.
She explained: “I have performed for the NBA on 2 occasions and I am a huge fan of basketball.
“The opportunity presented itself to come and I was like why not. I know it will be a great experience.
“I played basketball when I was in school and have always been a fan of watching the games.”
The 62nd NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 will be televised LIVE at 1am GMT, on Sky Sports 2HD and ESPN UK. Coverage of the weekend begins tonight at 12midnight on ESPN UK with the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity game.
