The singer made her first public appearance since giving birth in October last year at the ceremony in Los Angeles and and ended up taking home Best Original Song for Skyfall.

Worth the trip then we imagine.

Representing the Brits over the pond, Adele pretty much did everything to prove just why we love her so much.

Her speech was absolutely hilaire, typical Adele style, and James Corden wasn't even there to cut her off...

Adele thanked her hubby Simon and her new baby boy and said she hadn't even expected to win and just came for a night out!

She added: "I was not expecting this... thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night. I've been p***ing myself laughing."

"This is for my lovely son", she said on stage after lots of: "Oh my GAHHHHD! Oh my GAHHHHD!"

There really was no need to name check us personally, Adele! But if you haven't, make sure you see it NOW!

Later on, Adele wrote her thanks on Twitter, saying: "Oh my god I feel like Meryl Streep!! Thank you x"

Love. Her.

Meanwhile, we STILL don't know the name of Adele's baby! Asked about it on the red carpet the star said it was 'personal' and that she would be keeping schtum.
