50 Cent is "doing fine" after being taken to hospital on a stretcher following a car accident.
50 Cent was hospitalised after a car accident. Copyright [Wenn]The rapper was involved in an accident when a truck rear-ended his bullet-proof SUV early Tuesday morning on the Long Island Expressway in New York City.
50 Cent was put in a neck brace and taken to New York Hospital Queens on a stretcher, where they ran tests on his back and neck, ThisIs50.com reports.

His SUV almost flipped over during the incident, which the truck driver reportedly told police was caused because his load shifted and lost control of his vehicle. 50 Cent's driver was also taken to hospital.
A spokesman for 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) later released a statement to ABCNews.com saying: "He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."
50 Cent was also hospitalised in May due to a blockage in his small intestine.
He tweeted photos from his hospital bed to keep his fans up-to-date with his progress.

In May 2000 the rapper sustained his most serious injury, when he was shot at nine times in Queens.
Bullets hit his hand, arm, hip, legs, chest and cheek, shaving off part of his gums and leaving a hole between the rows of his teeth. He spent 13 days in hospital and five months in physical therapy.
