After getting caught cheating on his wife with Kristen Stewart, director Rupert Sanders has now released a public apology for his wrongdoings.
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” he said. "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
This statement follows hours after Stewart – 19 years his junior – put out her own public apology stating: “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob,” she said. “I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Sander’s wife, Liberty Ross, wrote her sentiment – before deleting her account – on Twitter: “Wow,” in reaction to the news of her husband’s betrayal.
The only person who has yet to publicly make a statement, or a comment of the cheating between the director and actress is Stewart’s boyfriend of more than three years, Robert Pattinson.
