Whitney Houston will reportedly be remembered at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards, held in Frankfurt tomorrow.
The legendary singer, who passed away in February, will be named a Global Icon at the ceremony.
Executive producer Bruce Gillmer said the title is reserved for acts who have "made a tremendous impact on the world".
He said that Houston possessed "one of the world's greatest voices".
Artists due to perform at the awards bash include Alicia Keys, The Killers, Rita Ora and Psy.
Kim Kardashian, David Hasselhoff and Geordie Shore are also expected to make appearances at the show, which is to be hosted by Heidi Klum.
British acts nominated for awards include Ora, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Florence and the Machine and, of course, One Direction.
Calvin Harris is also nominated for 'We Found Love', the song he produced for Rihanna.
