Kristen Stewart has tens of thousands of fans worldwide but how many of them would shell out half a million dollars to spend just 15 minutes with the Twilight star? Well one wealthy Middle Eastern prince did just that, splashing the cash for charity for a one on one with the actress.
Good sport Kristen agreed to the meeting in order to raise a cool $500,000 for the Hurricane Sandy relief fund, with movie bigwig Harvey Weinstein recalling the incident during a press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday.
Harvey was there to discuss 12.12.12, the concert film of last year’s star-studded Hurricane Sandy benefit show.
He explained to the audience that the Prince had approached organisers and offered to donate a huge amount of money in exchange for a brief meeting with Kristen.
When Harvey told the the star about the unusual proposal he said she simply asked him, “How much?” After the prince raised his offer to $500,000 and paid in advance (in cash!), generous Kristen kept up her end of the deal and sat "with the guy for 15 minutes," Harvey recalls.
Good work Kristen!

Weinstein was also outspoken at the press conference when a member of the audience asked if they'd asked Led Zeppelin to play the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert. The movie mogul admitted that they had, explaining that he thought that an appearance from the band's remaining members could significantly increase the amount of money that the benefit could raise.
Things didn't go to plan though as Harvey revealed that after approaching Robert Plant, "We get an OK from Plant if Page will do it... Jimmy Page doesn't want to do it."
