Kate Middleton and Prince William may have only welcomed their first child, Prince George, two months ago but according to a new report the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are already making plans for baby number two.
The royal couple gave birth to little George on July 22 and have been lying low since as they adjust to their lives as new parents. It sounds like things are going well though as insiders suggest Kate is keen to get pregnant again soon, so George can have a little brother or sister.
“William and Kate are very keen to start trying for baby No. 2,” an insider has told Life & Style magazine. "They’d be thrilled if Kate were pregnant by Christmas,” the insider said.
“William and Kate will be splitting their time during the holidays with Kate’s family and the queen in Sandringham House in Norfolk, so it would be the perfect moment for an announcement.”

Kate and William are reportedly keen to have baby number two soon so George can share their own experience of close sibling bonds:
“Royal or not, all couples want to mirror the special bond they had with their own siblings,” palace expert Jerramy Fine told the mag. “William, who has one younger brother, has said in the past that he definitely wants two children, while Kate, who has a younger sister and a younger brother, has told friends that she hopes to have at least three.”
“They know this time will fly by, and they figure they might as well have another baby next year so they can deal with it all at the same time,” a source told Life & Style.
Whilst she might have more babies on the mind, Kate took time out from mum duties as she made her glittering return to the spotlight last week at the Tusks Trust Awards in London.
And while the royal might be a pro on the red carpet she admitted she was "learning all the time" about conservation work, a cause close to the heart of Prince William, but predicting her son George would "follow in his father's footsteps" when it comes to concern for the environment.
Prince William, who is patron of the UK based conservation charity and has worked closely with them for several years, spoke passionately about his love of Africa in a recent televised interview Prince William's Passions: New Hope, New Father.
Admitting she wasn't as knowledgeable as her husband, Kate told guests on the night, according to The Telegraph: “I’m just learning all the time and I think George will be too. I think he’ll be following in his father’s footsteps."Harry Potter Producer: 'JK Rowling's New SpinOff Will Be Very, Very Special'
