Fresh from conquering Broadway and winning the heart of America and marrying his long term girlfriend, James Corden has kept the good news coming with the announcement that he’ll be starring in a movie written by the man responsible for ‘One Man Two Guvnors’.
'School For Santas will see the 34-year-old Tony-award winner play a downbeat dad looking to win over his children and will start filming in London and New York next year.
"All my life I've wanted to make a big family Christmas movie,” Corden said. “To be making one with a company like Working Title Films is a dream come true and re-teaming with Richard Bean and Kris Thykier is like all my Christmases have come at once. I can't wait to start."
Producer Kris Thykier, whose credits include Kick-Ass, The Debt and I Give It A Year added: "School for Santas is a project that's very close to my heart. To be able to work again with Working Title Films and with James Corden, with whom I've had such an amazing year, is like Christmas has come early."
Corden is also rumoured to be starring in a big-screen adaptation of ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ but has so far not commented on the possibility of that happening and is currently enjoying being off-stage with his new wife and one-year-old son, Max.
