Tulisa Contostavlos made The X Factor's new girl Geri Halliwell feel part of the gang by taking her for a glass of wine before auditions kicked off in Liverpool.
The pair headed up to the city on Tuesday before today's first round of auditions, and Tulisa got to know the former Spice Girl with a deep chat over a Pinot Grigio.
They were snapped chatting intensely, with tiny Geri seemingly hanging on Tulisa's every word.
The ex-N-Dubz star seemed confident talking to the Girl Power icon, leaning on the hotel bar wearing a pair of tracksuit bottoms.
A glass of vino might have been a bit of dutch courage for Geri as she has been told by producers that her cameo judging role could be made permanent if she impresses the audiences, despite getting booed when she stood in for Dannii Minogue in 2010.
A source tells The Mirror, "Simon was impressed with the way Geri handled herself during auditions a couple of years ago, and thinks she has the gravitas and star presence to really shake-up the panel... Assuming she passes her final dress rehearsal at the auditions in Liverpool, the job is hers."
However, despite her treatment two years ago, the forever perky star insists she loved taking over Simon Cowell's Mr Nasty role.
She previously told The Sun, "I can't believe I am getting booed. I am the villain! It is addictive being booed.
"I am learning to like it. It is a really nice sensation. I am more unpopular than Simon Cowell. He is just a bit sore. Deep down he is annoyed I nicked his boos."
