Tonight's Britain's Got Talent final may be full of talented acts bidding for the £250,000 prize money, but there was one shock addition to the line-up in the form of a random egg-thrower!
The shock stage invasion occurred halfway through singing brothers Richard and Adam's performance. Just as the act were reaching the song's crescendo, the stage doors opened to reveal a choir AND a woman throwing eggs!
The as yet unidentified woman (some tweeters are speculating it was a member of the on stage orchestra) gleefully began chucking her eggs at the judges before security dragged her off the stage. Ever the professionals, Richard and Adam carried on with the judges later berating the random protestor.
Alesha Dixon said: "You guys together are magical. Honestly when you sing it's so moving. You're voice just hits me. You're just mesmerising. I'm so sorry about what just happened, I'm so annoyed about that. But you carried on. And I love you for that."
Amanda Holden put it more bluntly by calling the women "a stupid cow." Hilariously Simon revealed that he had tweeted just the night before about his aversion to eggs:
