The Voice UK final was won tonight by Andrea Begley, pulling off a sensational defeat over bookies' favourite Leah McFall.
Mentored by Danny O'Donoghue, she became an unlikely victor - leading bookies the nation over to no doubt heave a HUGE sigh of relief.
Matt Henry was eliminated earlier in the evening in fourth place. Mike Ward joins Leah in the runners up slot.
Leah was reported earlier this week to be battling issues with her nerves, which may have impeded her when it came down to the crunch tonight.
A source said earlier this week: "Leah is really feeling the weight of pressure on her shoulders. At one point she wished Cleo Higgins had beaten her into the final. She and Will have also had real trouble deciding what songs she should sing and have changed tracks several times.
“Despite I Will Survive already being a big hit, it doesn’t look like she will perform it in the final. It all seems to be getting too much for her and she is really struggling. There have been a few teary moments.”
But despite Leah's issues, tonight is Andrea's night - and the lovely songbird will now be cruising on to a record deal with industry giants Universal, thanks to impressive performances of Evanescence's 'My Immortal' and The Script's 'Hall Of Fame'.
Can Andrea go all the way in the charts? Fingers crossed!
