Despite coming second on the leaderboard - and making our jaws drop with her sensational tango and rumba - the TV star ended up in the dance-off with Lisa Riley.
And although it was the Emmerdale actress who had to hang up her dancing shoes after the judges unanimously saved Denise, the Essex lass reckons she's got no chance of winning now.
Speaking to her after the show we told her that we loved her dancing but she said: "Thanks for the support but I won't win now I've been in the dance-off twice."
And DVO looked like she was pretty shaken and saddened by the whole thing.
Meanwhile judge Craig Revel Horwood agrees that the winner is not likely to be Denise.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I love Denise. I think she is our best all-rounder in the competition but the audience are just not voting for her. Why? Maybe they think she is just too good and they would prefer an underdog to win.
"She needs to get out there this week and canvass for votes like a politician."
Denise and James Jorden found themselves second top of the leaderboard on Saturday night behind Kimberley Walsh.
Her feisty tango (which involved a lot of aggressive head moves) scoring an almost-flawless 39 out of 40.
While her gentle rumba (which saw her looking ethereal in a white floaty dress) was given 38.
But it wasn't enough to keep her from the dance-off - with Kimberley Walsh, Louis Smith and Dani Harmer being voted straight through to the final.
Meanwhile Lisa Riley's dancing days on Strictly are over, after her Salsa and American Smooth failed to impress the judges.
Denise Van Outen found herself in the Strictly Come Dancing bottom two AGAIN this week.
