Beyonce is guaranteed to make us feel emotional every time she sings, so it seems only fitting that she would be chosen to cover Amy Winehouse's classic song Back to Black for the upcoming The Great Gatsby film.
Covering any Amy Winehouse track let alone her most iconic song was always going to be a challenge, but it seems to be one that Beyonce feels she can pull off for the sake of the film's soundtrack.
Beyonce's hubby, Jay Z is the executive producer for the movie's soundtrack, and he's paired Beyonce with Outkast's Andre 3000 for the reworked version of Amy's classic hit.
A source revealed: “The track was perfect for the film but the whole idea of the 2013 picture is to give everything a new twist."
A spokesman for the record label agreed, saying: "It's a very different take on Back to Black."

Jay Z also confirmed the re-working of the track, explaining: "It's ripe for experimentation and ready to be interpreted with a modern twist."
But Jay Z apparently had to clear the cover with Amy's family as well as Mark Ronson who co-wrote the song before the news could be announced.
We can't wait to hear it.
