They grew close throughout their time on Strictly together.
And now Abbey Clancy has spoken out for the first time about her flirty relationship with her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec – setting the record straight.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross show this weekend, Abbey admitted that she had initially resisted signing up to the show because she didn’t want it to cause problems in her marriage to footballer Peter Crouch.
She said: “That was one of the reservations. I did not want to bring any of that tension home.”
The stunning 28-year-old model also revealed that Aljaz wasn’t her preferred choice of partner.
She explained: “On the launch show I was desperate to have Robin [Windsor] because we had two days rehearsal and we got to dance with all the pros.
“I connected with Robin and then when I didn’t get him and he got Deborah, I was crying my eyes out and got paired with Aljaz.

“I know what went on and he knows what went on, so it’s not like that – you’re just learning to dance. Nobody got off with anyone.”
Well we’re glad to hear it.
Abbey also admitted that she didn’t go on the show in a bid to show a different side of her – but is happy to have won the public over.
She said: “People see my modelling and see me getting papped all the time and don’t really get to see me because I don’t do much TV or whatever.
“I didn’t go on the show to prove myself. I went on to learn how to dance and have fun, which I did, and on the way people made a different opinion of me.”
