Nicki Minaj has admitted comparisons with Lady Gaga don't offend her but rather "irk" her.
The 'Super Bass' rapper was confronted with questions about the similarities between her and Lady Gaga during an interview with ABC's Nightline.
When asked if such comparisons offend her, Nicki Minaj replied: "Offends me, no. Irks me, yes."

Nicki Minaj continued: "We are in completely different lanes" adding that she's a rapper who comes from southside Jamaica, Queens.
The interviewer added that they both wear wigs, to which Nicki Minaj replied: "every female in this game" does so too.
When asked then about the similarities between her and Lady Gaga's flamboyant clothes, Nicki Minaj responded by making a buzzer sound while saying: "Over-the-top costumes? Try again!"
Nicki Minaj made sure to praise "fantastic artist" Lady Gaga, though, explaining that she sees Gaga as paving her own way and opening her own lane, just like she has done for herself.
She added: "We never cross. Ever. So, you know, I really don't get the comparison anymore. Our music doesn't sound the same. Our stage presence is not the same. I just can't see the similarities."

Nicki Minaj also discussed her recent wardrobe malfunctions.
Speaking about her nipple-flashing incident on the Today show last week, which followed a similar incident on Good Morning America last year, Nicki Minaj admitted is was "devastating" and said she would "never, ever, ever" do that on purpose.
